Some of the compositions that I’ve painted in the past feature organisms (for lack of a better word) that seem romantically inclined toward each other. It was this dynamic that prompted me to select couples to be officially recognized as betrothed by way of imaginary wedding certificates from the future. These documents proudly display the loving couple along with the name and location of the venue of their ceremony. Also, I included the newlyweds’ names in Morse code on the certificates, as that is a practice that amuses me to imagine in the distant future.
