Phones

  • One day, while strolling in the park, I saw two teenagers leaning against a wall, entwined and gazing at a phone together. They seemed to be one organism with the phone as their glowing heartbeat. That image inspired a notion of how humans would evolve with and into our phones, but with the device’s design remaining relatively the same. Our intimate and pseudo-sexual relationships with phones would be more outwardly explicit, resulting in these complex and alien organisms being almost comically juxtaposed against the banal and unrelenting image of the rectangular phone.
