Giving real-life motion to my paintings was the intended goal for these creations. With the use of micro servo motors, the assemblages began to grow vertically, sprouting upwards along the wooden support stakes. The animation is achieved using a servo recorder, which plays back live knob-turning input, resulting in more fluid, natural movement than coded instructions. The sculptures have been displayed both indoors and outdoors.
